This website is about investing in European equities. How do you accomplish that in a sensible way? That is described in the blog. If you're going to invest in stocks, you can use basic valuation metrics such as price-earnings ratio, dividend yield and earnings per share. On this website you will find the price-earnings ratio, dividend yield and earnings per share of all shares listed on the exchanges of London (FTSE 100), Amsterdam (AEX, AMX), Brussel (BEL 20), Parijs (CAC 40), Frankfurt (DAX) and Stockholm (OMX).
The measurement criteria for each index are given for the years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Furthermore, all European stocks are ranked by sector and the average price-earnings ratio is calculated. This makes it possible to compare shares from the same industry. Finally, the costs of investing in stocks are discussed.
